Before he had 190 tons of ammunition and armor under his command, Yegor Volsky was a 38-year-old enlisted mechanic, serving a prison sentence for punching an officer in the teeth after the officer called him Igor instead of Yegor... for the 48th time. Striving to make the world remember his name, Yegor drew up the blueprints to his massive MASTIFF tank. But a tank of that size is the stuff of science fiction. That's what his cellmate would tell him any time he got the chance. Yegor felt destiny in the air, though, and kept breathing it in. He was released. He met a general sitting alone at a table covered in beer bottles. The "pleasant" general loved Yegor's blueprints and persuaded a crooked accountant to convince a local factory to produce a single prototype of this hulking beast. The factory was eventually bombed, but not before Yegor's machine was completed. Volsky drove out of the factory's rubble and carved a line through the enemy front. It was four days before he ran out of fuel. A couple of months later, he was again recruited by the army. Now he is one of the world's greatest commanders. Just remember: It's Yegor. Not Igor.
