STORY —-

The twins, Aether and Lumine, arrive in Teyvat after traveling through several worlds. When they first arrive, the two try to escape after seeing Khaenri’ah destroyed, but a mystery god who identifies herself as the “Sustainer of Heavenly Principles” quickly blocks their way. The player character is locked away for five hundred years after she splits the twins. The sibling who was sealed and is now known as “The Traveler” awakens to find a little fairy-like creature named Paimon, who joins them as a travel companion. The two went out on a trek across Teyvat to ask the leader Archon of each country for information regarding their missing twin. 

GAMEPLAY —-

The player can take control of one of four interchangeable characters in a group in the open-world action role-playing game Genshin Impact. During combat, the player can quickly switch between characters, enabling them to apply a variety of skill and attack combinations. A character’s powers can be improved in a number of ways, most notably by directly leveling them up and enhancing the weapons and artifacts they can equip. 

The user can explore and try out different challenges to get rewards. Bosses and challenges that award extremely valuable resources are scattered throughout Teyvat but, completing them depletes a currency known as Original Resin, which gradually replenishes itself. The player advances toward raising their Adventure Rank by completing these challenges, which opens up new quests, challenges, and World Levels. The World Level indicates the strength of the opponents in the world and the rarity of the rewards that can be earned by defeating them.

Depending on their stamina, the player can manage their character and engage in activities like swimming, climbing, sprinting, and gliding. Certain characters have the ability to change the surroundings; for example, they can freeze water to make an ice path that will help the player go through the landscape. There are numerous teleportation places in the globe that players can warp to for quick travel, these include famous sites called Statues of the Seven, which have the ability to heal and recover characters in addition to offering advantages like boosting player strength. 

While adversaries and treasure chests drop various resources that can be utilized to increase a character’s strength, items like food and ore can be obtained from the open environment. Food can be acquired by players through in-game stores, fruit and vegetable collecting, or animal hunting. Additionally, there are unique battle situations known as “Domains” that provide resources that boost weapon and character power. Characters’ health can be restored or other stats can be increased using meals prepared with ingredients collected in the overworld. Additionally, players can obtain ore that can be refined to make weapons or increase their strength.

Co-op is one of the various multiplayer modes. In the overworld, up to four players can join Domains and play together. Either an aut

omatic search or a request to connect with another player can be used to match players. Players on different platforms can play together thanks to the game’s cross-platform play functionality.

The player can unlock more playable characters by finishing specific missions or by taking part in specific time-limited events. However, the majority of characters can be acquired through the “Wishes” character banners, which are part of the game’s gacha system. The “Primogems” in-game cash, which can be obtained through in-app purchases or as gaming incentives, is necessary in order to pull on the game’s banners. After a certain number of pulls, a pity mechanism ensures that the user will obtain uncommon things.
